Following a successful launch of her online interior design business, Katelynn has completed a rigorous qualifying process to establish Katelynn Scott – Decorating Den Interiors, a premier home furnishings and interior design franchise serving the Greater Grand Rapids area. As an HSR Certified Professional home staging and interior redesign organization, Katelynn Scott – Decorating Den Interiors has undergone extensive training through the Home Staging Resource, the leading provider of home staging certification courses in North America. Recognized by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) as one of the few Accredited staging trainings, Katelynn Scott – Decorating Den Interiors sets the standard for excellence in the home staging industry.

From an early age, I realized the importance of environment and why having a well-designed space is good for the soul. Our surroundings play a significant role in how we react, how we feel and how we interpret and remember experiences in our lives.

All my life, I have had a love for design, detail and organization that has been integral in everything that I do. When I’m in an environment that nurtures my soul and sparks my imagination, I can be my best and most creative self.

More about Katelynn Scott

Katelynn attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and the New York Institute of Art and Design. She has an extensive background in Marketing and has worked for global corporations leading their digital marketing efforts.

Over the past few years, Katelynn discovered her true passion was design and keeping true to that passion, she enrolled in the New York Institute of Art and Design and embarked on a new career path as an Interior Designer.

Since then, Katelynn has launched a successful online interior design business and has progressed through an extensive qualifying process to now serve the Greater Grand Rapids area as Katelynn Scott – Decorating Den Interiors, North America’s largest home furnishings and interior design franchise company.  

Katelynn Scott – Decorating Den Interiors is an HSR Certified Professional home staging and interior redesign organization serving the Greater Grand Rapids area, and has completed the most comprehensive and intensive home staging and redesign certification courses in North America provided by the Home Staging Resource.

The HSR Certification program was the first and is one of the only Accredited staging trainings by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) who is the governing body for the home staging industry.
